'My family calls me the ugly and dark one' - Eva Longoria
Former Miss Corpus Christi, actress, director and face of L'Oréal, Eva Longoria, opened up in a recent interview about how until this day her family calls her the "ugly and dark" one.
Eva Longoria, 48, is one of the most successful actors in the world. Longoria was part of the award-winning series 'Desperate Housewives'.
She played the role of Gabrielle Solis, a former model who married a rich businessman.
Longoria is also well-known for being on our TV screens as the model or face for L'Oréal.
In 2011, Longoria was one of the highest-paid actresses in the world.
In 2016, she married billionaire businessman, José Bastón. They have one son together Santiago Enrique Bastón.
Longoria sat down for an interview with 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' on YouTube with Amanda Hirsch.
She opened up about her childhood, 'Desperate Housewives' and more.
"All my sisters were blond and I'm the only one with black hair, dark skin, and dark eyes.
"I grew up as la prieta fea which means the ugly, dark one."
Longoria further mentioned that even her mom called her that.
"People will walk up to my mom and say 'Your daughters are so beautiful and who's this'?"
Longoria said that she grew up knowing she is not the pretty one but she knew that she is the "funny one".
