It turns out GoFundMe carried out an investigation on the account only to discover that it was fraudulent and posing as an aid to Amber Heard to help raise the money she owes to her now ex-husband for damages.
As per the court’s verdict on 1 June 2020, Heard lost the case against Depp and the jury ordered her to pay him $15-million in damages.
