Grimes rooting for Taylor Swift to run for presidency

"Taylor Swift is the only presidential candidate who can unite the country."
Should Taylor Swift run for the presidency?
Musician Grimes is convinced the singer has what it takes to run the United States.
She revealed this on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Amongst some of the things she believes Taylor would be able to fix, one is carbon emissions.
"It’s not just the fact that Taylor Swift as president would course correct society and fix carbon emissions in 10 years. it’s that I care about her mental health and she cares about mine (she doesn’t know me but she'd care)," wrote Grimes on X on Tuesday, 16 October.
"In many ways Taylor Swift is the only presidential candidate who can unite the country. Trump v Swift is totally occurring in a parallel universe," she wrote on Wednesday, 17 October.

Although some of Grimes' followers supported her, others totally disagreed.
"One flight from Taylor swift private airplane is thousands more than the average persons annual emissions. But we love you more," wrote Van Alpert.
"Unity is not necessary the thing people need, unless it is for the right reason and used for the right goal. I heard that she doesn't want to condemn Hamas because one of her friends is a Palestinian. Just think about that, the unwillingness to make one member of the intolerant group feel uncomfortable can override one's conscious, therefore ignore the rest, and the difference between the obvious evil and good. Do you really want someone like that to lead the US," wrote Jing Liang.
