Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey, and his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, have been caught in yet another online scandal.

The 'Baby' hitmaker dated Gomez on and off for eight years before ending the relationship for good in March 2018.

A few months later, he started dating Hailey, whom he had also previously dated. The pair got engaged in July 2018.

Rumours of a beef between the women have gone on for years, resulting in online sleuths watching every move they make on social media looking for clues.

This time, Hailey is accused of throwing shade at Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco. She allegedly liked a shady TikTok video that made fun of the newly engaged couple's "cringe" photoshoot.

The TikToker, Courtney Presto, shared a follow-up video claiming that Hailey liked the post mocking the pair.

She shared a screenshot of a notification she received from what appears to be the model's official page.

"Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok... I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez... However, that means that the Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber beef is alive and well, people. Hailey probably hates Selena.

"I feel like this is definite proof that when Hailey Bieber is like, 'Oh, it's all love. It's all good; we have absolutely no beef, everything is completely fine.' She's lying," the TikToker said.

A rep for Hailey was quick to pour cold water over the claims. She denied that Mrs Bieber liked the post.

"This never happened. This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative," the rep told E! News.

The TikToker returned to the platform to defend herself. She shared further proof that the person who liked the video was indeed Hailey.

However, her fans are not buying it, with some accusing the TikToker of faking the screenshots. Others are just tired of the alleged Selena-Hailey beef as both women have clearly moved on with other people.

"Do we not ever get tired of pinning these two women against one another? It’s exhausting to read this year after year – get new content people. Start obsessing over other people’s relationships as these two women have clearly moved on with theirs," an Instagram user wrote.
