Halle & Olivier living apart for weeks
Halle Berry and estranged husband Olivier Martinez have reportedly been living apart for weeks, as the French actor recently moved to Malibu.
The French actor, who announced his split from the Oscar winner in a joint statement today (27.10.15) after two years of marriage, recently started staying at a bachelor pad in Malibu, California in favour of their family home in the Hollywood Hills, according to gossip website RadarOnline.com.
A family friend also said: "They've weathered a lot of ups and downs in their relationship - but recently, Olivier has been completely MIA!"
Another source told PEOPLE.com their relationship had simply "run its course," adding: "They are keeping it amicable now. She is okay."
The duo are said to have finally decided to end their marriage last week after they were sued over an incident at LAX airport in January, when the 'Dark Tide' actor allegedly shoved an airport employee to the ground with a baby carseat.
The pair, who share two-year-old son Maceo and also raise the 'Extant' star's seven-year-old daughter Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, spent time together with their little boy in Sherman Oaks, California just 10 days ago, but have rarely been spotted together this year.
Halle, who has cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce documents, also forgot about their second wedding anniversary last July.
When asked how they were planning to celebrate the occasion, she told E! News at the time: "Thank you for reminding me. I gotta get something fast. Wow, two years. That's big for me."
The actress was also previously married to baseball player David Justice for four years until 1997, and to R&B singer Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.
