Harry Styles used his break up from Taylor Swift as inspiration for the One Direction song 'Perfect', bandmate Louis Tomlinson has appeared to confirm.
The 21-year-old singer's bandmate Louis Tomlinson has appeared to confirm the group's latest single 'Perfect' was penned about Harry's split from Taylor Swift.
He said: "I think people interpret songs in different ways. I'm never going to tell someone what a song's about because I feel like it's up to them."
Whilst Louis added to PEOPLE magazine: "I think everybody draws from personal experiences, so of course to a degree I'm sure that influenced some of it. Down to specifics to who that song is exactly about, that's fan's interpretation, I suppose."
Meanwhile, Harry has reportedly been busy penning tracks for his solo career after the band go on a hiatus early next year.
A source said: "Harry has been writing constantly both when on the road and when doing his own thing.
"He's managed to work on and record 20 songs already."
However, Liam Payne has insisted the group will get back together.
He added: "I realise now this is the time to start branching out and exploring.
"This won't last forever, and there will be a point when we will break off and do our own things, but ... we will work together again."
