The investigation into the death of Nellie Tembe, the late fiancé of AKA, has been reopened
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
AKA has resurfaced on social media and is seemingly getting back to work with a caption on a recent status stating, “Ok, let’s get back to business.”
However, it has now been reported that the NPA ordered that the Western Cape police reopen the case into the death of Tembe.
The news comes nearly three months after the tragic death of Nellie Temba, after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town. The horrific incident occurred on 11 April 2021, only weeks after AKA posted that he had paid lobola for Tembe.
WATCH: AKA answers burning questions in tell-all interview
In a sit-down interview with journalist Thembekile Mrototo, AKA openly shared his concerns about the ongoing inquest into Tembe’s death and questioned whether he was a suspect. According to AKA, the police had at the time interviewed his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, DJ Zinhle.
On an Insta-story yesterday, AKA can be seen sitting on the couch with a blanket around him. At this point, we wonder if he knew about the case being reopened or whether he found out like the rest of us.
