Jeff Bezos' fiancée brushes off inauguration outfit backlash

Lauren Sánchez was slammed for wearing an "incredibly inappropriate" outfit to Donald Trump's inauguration. However, some people think it wasn't that racy.

President Donald Trump's inauguration attracted some of the biggest tech billionaires in America, including Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez.

While all eyes were on Trump as he was sworn in as the country's 47th president, some were more focused on Sánchez's interesting choice of outfit.

Sánchez looked gorgeous in a white Alexander McQueen suit. However, the journalist's decision to pair the pantsuit with a visible white lace bustier was heavily frowned upon.

Some questioned how she could wear an "incredibly inappropriate" outfit to such a formal event attended by high-profile figures like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, and Kamala Harris.

"Jeff Bezos' future wife Lauren Sánchez is incredibly inappropriately dressed for a state occasion. Someone should have told her that having her white lace bra out on display is not acceptable," one observer wrote on X

Mark Zuckerberg, who attended the inauguration with his wife, Priscilla Chan, was caught in the social media drama. The Facebook founder was seated next to Sánchez when he momentarily looked in her direction.

The glance lasted about 0.00001 seconds but it was enough for the internet to turn it into a viral meme.

Sánchez brushed off the hate over her outfit by liking comments from people who gushed about how amazing she looked.

One comment read, "Girl you ate that inaugural look; don’t pay attention to no haters."

Another fan wrote, "THAT GIRL 🔥 don't let the haters bring you down! Only opinion that matters is your own and Jeff's."

Sánchez did not share a picture of her inauguration outfit on Instagram. She did, however, share the look she wore to Trump’s inaugural ball in Washington, DC.

"Starlight ball," she captioned a picture of her Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Thousands of people – including Zuckerberg – allegedly, liked the post.
