Jennifer Lopez, 55, grateful for her "better than ever" body
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
The 'I'm Real' singer still has one of the best bodies in show business for someone in her 50s.

Jennifer Lopez has shared three things she is grateful for and one of them is her amazing body.
The singer and actress was the poster girl for curves in the 90s and 2000s. Everyone wanted the J.Lo booty, which reports claimed she insured for as much as $28 million (about R518 million).
However, during a 2016 episode of James Corden's 'Carpool Karaoke', Lopez denied taking out insurance on any part of her body, including her famous behind.
"No! There is no such thing as that. I think there is a place in your homeland where you can insure certain things, parts of your body – seriously. I think that exists. I’ve heard that. Not here, I don’t think!” she told Corden.
That didn't stop people from rushing to the gym to get her enviable figure. It's 2025 and Lopez still has chiselled abs and a perfect derrière – at 55, nogal!
"Gratitude check-in," she captioned a selfie of herself wearing a skintight bodysuit. Her gratitude list read:
My body – working hard but still better than ever
The people who keep my heart full
The little moments that become the best memories
Lopez's personal trainers, Dodd Romero and Tracy Anderson, gave Us Weekly insight into her fitness routine in a 2024 interview.
"Jennifer’s in better shape now than she’s ever been,” Romero said.
The 'Maid in Manhattan' actress works out at least three times a week. Her routine includes rope crunches and hanging ab raises.
She is also a fan of plié squats.
"She’s tough [and] really doesn’t ever complain about anything. Wherever I tell her to go, she’ll go.” Romero added.
Anderson has her own fitness genre, the Tracy Anderson Method. Lopez enjoys combining the method with dance aerobics.
“Moving is part of Jennifer’s core values. She does what she needs to do," she said.
Romero added that Lopez also follows a strict diet, which includes cutting back on sugar and dairy.
"As you get older, you have to be more strict."
