Jonathan calls it quits with girlfriend, Jay Anstey

Actress and Model, Jay Anstey and Top Billing Presenter, Jonathan Boynton-Lee have ended their 14-month relationship. The rumour -mill has been working overtime with whispers that the couple has ended the relationship with Jonathan taking the decision to end the relationship.

The source revealed to ZAlebs that after miscommunication & conflicting schedules, Jonathan decided to end the relationship. A broken-hearted Jay Anstey has taken an exotic trip to soothe her soul in the South of France with a few friends.

You might remember Jay Anstey from our Mozambique Hijack we did  last year.

The couple got close after the sudden passing of their mutual friend, Simba Mhere and have been smitten ever since. They have appeared on Top Billing together and walked the red carpet at various events, most recently being nominated as couple of the year at the You Spec – losing out to Aka and Bonang.

In an interview with ZAlebs Jonathan spoke fondly about the first time he met with Jay Anstey and how they hit it off.

"Jay was my first celebrity interview when I joined Top Billing. She was still Charlie on Isidingo back then, but she was just not interested in the beginning hey..I wasn't her type, I had to chase her for three years before she went out on a date with me."
