Julianne Hough won't teach fiancé to dance
Julianne Hough refuses to teach fiancé Brooks Laich how to dance before their upcoming wedding and has told him to ask her brother, Derek, instead.
The newly-engaged 'Dancing With the Stars' judge admits the professional ice hockey player, who proposed last month, has been begging her for lessons so he can twirl her around the special day, but she thinks her brother, Derek Hough, should teach him instead.
The 27-year-old star said: "Oh my goodness, he wants more than anything to dance. He's always wanted to dance before he ever met me, so he's always asking me to teach him and I'm like, 'Ask Derek!' I'm just pawning my brother off to him. So I think Derek and Brooks might have a first dance. That would be interesting, and a sight to see for sure."
The blonde beauty is "getting all sorts of ideas" about their wedding, but has no plans in place just yet.
She told PEOPLE.com: "We're just kind of enjoying right now. Once we kind of figure out when and where and all that, then I'll start diving deep with that."
But Julianne's dogs, Lexi and Harley, will definitely be accompanying her down the aisle.
She said: "They will definitely be running down the aisle at some point. For sure, probably wearing little ribbons and bows, the whole nine yards. I haven't told Brooks yet, but that's happening."
