Justin Timberlake has apologised for cancelling his 'Forget Tomorrow World Tour' show on Tuesday, 8 October, in New Jersey.

The singer announced that he suffered a knee injury that hindered him from performing.

"I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show," he wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“I have an injury that is preventing me from performing,” he added.

The singer promised his fans that he would reschedule the show.

“I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you for understanding. Appreciate your support always,” he wrote.

The tour is aimed at promoting Justin's 'Everything I Thought It Was' album.

The 18-track album was released on March 15.

It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

The album features hit singles such as 'Selfish' and 'Drown'.

In June, Justin Timberlake cancelled his world tour at the Tauron Arena in Krakow after he was arrested and due to appear in court on July 26, the same date his show was supposed to start.

He was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated east of New York City.

In June, the singer thanked his fans for their support.

"It’s been a tough week,” Timberlake can be heard saying in a video clip posted on X a week after his first public performance following his arrest on 18 June.

“I know I’m hard to love sometimes but you keep loving me right back,” he added.

The former *NSYNC member thanked his fans for their unwavering support.

"We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights … but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” he said.
