Karlien and Derick: The Wedding

We bring you details about the Liefling-couple of South Africa's wedding - taking place early next month
Afrikaans pop singer, Karlien van Jaarsveld and her Rugby beau, Derick Hougaard is set for the wedding of the year, when they exchange vows early March.
The invites have been sent out, the venue is booked and the who is who of the South African entertainment- and sporting industry will fly down to the Mother City to witness these two lovebirds tying the knot.
"I can confirm that Karlien and Derick will tie the knot on the 8th of March," Fame Factory Publicist, Janis Ellis told @Jacatainment.
It is unusual for a wedding to be held on a Friday, but Ellis says they plan on celebrating from the Friday till the Sunday.
The Ring:
"It's going to be a massive celebration at one of the most breath-taking venues in Stellenbosch," Ellis said.
The wedding will be held at the Brenaissance Wine and Stud Farm in Stellenbosch that was built especially for weddings.
"The owners needed a venue when they decided to get married and thus built this five star venue," says Ellis.

The Chapel:
"A-list celebrities will be attending the event....At this stage I can confirm that Theuns Jordaan, Robbie Wessels, Pedrie Wannenburg, Angelique Gerber will be there," he says.
More than a hundred and fifty guests will be attending the wedding - amongst them some of SA's biggest sporting heroes.
The bachelors and bachelorettes were held the past weekend and although we have little detail about the parties, we got a hold of photos.
Derick Hougaard dressed up in a blonde wig and Bulls outfit while posing with soon-to-be brother-in-law, Bobby van Jaarsveld.
The Dress:
I can't comment on the actual dress, but let me tell you this - it is gorgeous," Ellis told us.
The dress was designed by Anel Botha - one of South Africa top designers - and according to Janis Ellis it embodies everything that Karlien is.
