Kate Hudson is enjoying single life
Kate Hudson has admitted she's enjoying being on her own because it's allowed her to become more "acquainted" with herself.
The 36-year-old actress separated from her fiancé Matt Bellamy, 37, in 2014 following four years together and, despite the heartbreaking split, she has admitted the break-up allowed her to become more "acquainted" with herself.
Speaking in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, she said: "It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone. You know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship. But if it doesn't work, you can't force things."
However, they might have gone their separate ways once their romantic relationship came crumbling down but the blonde beauty, who also has son Ryder, 11, with former husband Chris Robinson, is determined to remain friends with her ex-lovers for the sake of her young children.
She said previously: "Relationships ending are painful, and you can choose to carry that or you can choose to re-frame it. If Matt and I had a great relationship, we would still be together, but we chose to move on because we had different visions of how we wanted to live our lives.
"That doesn't mean, though, that we can't rebuild something that would be the best thing for the kids."
Meanwhile, despite claiming she's enjoying the single life, the 'Rock the Kasbah' star has been rumoured to be casually dating 23-year-old singer Nick Jonas.
