Report: Travis Barker's teen daughter Alabama hospitalised
Alabama Barker was reportedly taken to the hospital due to vape pen nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
Travis Barker's daughter, Alabama Barker, was reportedly hospitalised recently after experiencing nicotine withdrawal symptoms. The 19-year-old allegedly called 911 herself.
According to TMZ, Alabama, who is the daughter of Shanna Moakler and stepdaughter of Kourtney Kardashian, recently gave up vaping.
She felt "panicked and unwell" one day and decided to call emergency services. A source told TMZ that medical staff told the teen that she was suffering from nicotine withdrawal.
It was noted that she had allegedly given up vaping cold turkey instead. Experts advised that she instead gradually cut back to minimise severe withdrawal symptoms.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), common withdrawal symptoms smokers experience when quitting include feeling jumpy, restless, irritated, anxious, sad and/or depressed.
Some people also have trouble sleeping and concentrating.

Alabama is said to have been an occasional vaper but was advised to quit the habit to protect her voice. She is an aspiring rapper.
Travis and Kourtney both appeared in the music video for her song, 'Vogue', which debuted on YouTube earlier this month.
Travis has two children with his ex-wife Shanna, including son Landon Barker. He also has a close relationship with his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya.
Both Atiana and Alabama were bridesmaids at Travis and Kourtney's Italian wedding in 2022. Kourtney has three children with ex-Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
Travis and Kourtney welcomed their first child together in 2023. They named him Rocky.
The blended family celebrated the festive season together. Kourtney shared a picture of the family posing together following the Kardashian family's annual Christmas Eve dinner.
Alabama was not seen in the pictures. However, she has a very close relationship with Kourtney. On her TikTok page, Alabama showed off the expensive gifts she received from Kourtney and Travis for Christmas.
They included $80,000 worth of gifts. Her Christmas present haul included a Cartier bracelet and a $7,950 Balenciaga bag. Kourtney's mother also gifted her a Chanel backpack.
