Letoya Makhene signs new music deal

Letoya Makhene is now signed to Ntethe Global Effect, a company owned by award-winning musician and music executive Ntethelelo Mposwa, which is also underwritten by Universal Music Publishing Group.
Congratulations are in order for Letoya Makhene.
The former 'Generations: The Legacy' star and musician took to Instagram to announce that she has just signed a new music deal.
The news comes two years after Letoya released her single, 'Ngihawukele'.
Letoya signed the deal with Ntethe Global Effect, a company underwritten by Universal Music Publishing Group.
The singer shared a video of the epic moment when she signed the deal on Instagram.
"And through it all My God and my Ancestors continue to show me just how blessed and highly favoured I am 👏🏽👏🏽♾🧜🏽♀️🐚," she captioned the video which she posted on Monday.
In the photos, Letoya was accompanied by a group of people, including her legendary musician father Blondie Makhene, and 'Jerusalema' hitmaker Nomcebo Zikode.
In a separate post, she thanked all those who were involved in her new deal.
"11/07/2024 is a day that I will have engraved in my heart forever! The day I did my official signing with @ntethe_global_effect. Our stars aligned and we followed this spiritual mandate! Thank you to everyone who was involved," she captioned her post on Instagram.

Letoya, who has previously worked with the likes of Brenda Fassie, spoke about what the recording deal means to her, especially working with the record company's founder, the award-winning musician and music executive Ntethelelo Mposwa, also known as Ntethe.
"Working with Ntethe has been both a blessing and a challenge because as a vocal producer, he has really stretched me beyond my limits.”
She said signing to the record label is a dream come true for her.
"Signing with Ntethe Global Effect is a dream come true. It is great to finally get back to doing what I was born to do and to be able to work with a team of professionals whose goals are aligned with mine.
“I believe Ntethe Global Effect is the company that is going to take my music and my brand to the next level," she wrote on Instagram.

Letoya also shared a short clip of her upcoming single, 'Makwande'.
