Liesl Laurie & Bonang battle for the SATY's
Who will be chosen as the host for the South African Of the Year Awards?
Award season gives us such a rush if it's not the outfits we're looking forward to seeing it's figuring out who will be the official hosts of the particular award shows.
Its seems like the ANN7 South African of the Year Awards (SATY's) is causing a stir among Mzansi's finest. Bonang, Minnie, Lerato and Liesl have all been approached to host the prestigious awards show. Minnie has since declined, but a source has revealed that Bonang, Liesl Laurie and Lerato Kganyago are on the short-listed candidates to host the show.
Whilst Lerato is still working things out with her SABC bosses, that leaves Former Miss SA, Liesl Laurie. Hmmm, this would be the first time Liesl has hosted a LIVE television showcase and it would be great to see what she can bring to the ‘’Awards show culture’’ we have in Africa. Perhaps Liesl will ask her ‘’friend’’ ProVerb for some solid advice.

Along with the gorgeous woman, Somizi has been contacted to host the awards as well. We all remember how well he did at the SAMAs. But what about Miss Thando Thabethe? Are they not a package deal? We will be looking forward to the official announcement from the SATY team.
