South African comedian Tumi Morake has spoken of her elation at being named as one of the hosts of the South African Music Awards.
She will be joining socialite extraordinaire Somizi Mhlongo on stage during SA music's biggest night.
"I am....cannot believe it - if that is a feeling I am feeling 'cannot believe it'," she told Jacaranda FM's MornéJK.
Morake says she has done hosting duties at SAMA event in the past, but not during the main broadcast.
"Somizi is such a playful host and the idea of hosting with him is very exciting," she says.
The comedian says that she can't wait for the curve balls that Somizi will surely throw at her on stage.
"I do have a problem though....I am double the size of normal people so I am going to have to beg someone to glam me up," she says.
Morake says she works in a "plastic industry" so she has to look her best to avoid embarrassing herself and her family.
"I am hoping that someone goes: OMG I can glam you the hell up!" she laughs.
