Updated | By MornéJK
South African singer, Lloyd Cele and his wife welcomed their newborn baby son into the world but not without complications.
The baby boy, named Kingsley, was born with water on the lungs and according to a video on Instagram, he was admitted to NICU for a few days.
Lloyd confirmed the birth of his baby on the picture sharing site.
"Kingsley Lloyd was in NICU for 3days. He had water in his lungs, struggled to breathe on his own! He pulled through and got better/healed by the #grace of God," he posted.
A video that was posted minutes after he was born, Kingsley grabs his dad's finger and holds it tight.
"I told him he would be ok, his gonna be fine. I knew this because I had faith in my God and that He won't fail him or us. This was a precious moment that I will treasure forever. Our first bond and connection," Lloyd says.
He thanked his fans, family and friends for standing by him and his wife, saying: "I want to thank many of you that stood beside us, you held our hands in prayer. I am eternally grateful for your love and support but mostly your prayers.
