Local singer writes anthem for international campaign

South African singer/songwriter Storm is about to release the new anthem for the international hunger relief organisation, Rise Against Hunger.

"I wrote a song December last year on a flight to Cape Town, for the opening of a Theme Park in Dubai but while I was writing this song I decided I was going to keep it for a bigger and better purpose," says the 18-year-old musician.
The CEO of Stop Hunger Now SA, Saira Khan, then approached Storm two months ago to write an anthem for their organisation.
"That's when I knew the song had found its purpose," he says.
The single has been mastered by Prime Circle drummer Dale Schnettler, who is also producing Storm's latest album.
The Stop Hunger Now SA Challenge is a global initiative involving 6 which sees corporate volunteers collectively package millions of meals during the Mandela Month activities.
Storm is one of SA's rising stars and has already shared the stage with superstars such as Locnville, Euphonik, Vin Deysel, Blackbyrd and Mean Mr Mustard.
His hit single Keep Calm shot to Nr 1 on several major radio stations around the country.
