Lundi Tyamara's manager on the last day he saw him

His manager shares how peaceful Lundi seemed the last day he saw him. As South Africans wake up to the passing of Lundi Tyamara whose brief battle with stomach TB and a liver condition ended just after midnight on the 27th of January.

His manager has shared with the media the families shock at Lundi's passing and the last encounter he had with the late singer.


Just a month after S'fiso Ncwane's passing gospel fans have been hit with yet another heavy blow after Lundi's death was confirmed by his manager, Anele Hlazo.


On Monday, more prayer requests for Lundi's speedy recovery was sent out to the public when Lundi's illness turned for the worse.


Anele Hlazo had confirmed that Lundi's health had not improved which led to his admission into I.C.U.

Although his condition was serious, Anele informed the media that they had not lost hope and believed that Lundi would recover in no time.


Sadly their hope was lost.


Speaking to EWN Anele shared with the publication how Lundi looked fine when he last saw him last night whilst family members prayed for him.


Lundi's last interview was with SABC News where he promoted his DVD titled The Best of Lundi Tyamara Live at The Lyric Theatre.


In the interview, Lundi expressed how he put in a lot of work in the project and with the grace of God he was able to finish the DVD. He also shared how his DVD is also about inspiration and that people can survive difficult times no matter how impossible it seems.
