Madonna: I wasn't drunk on stage
Madonna has denied claims she gets drunk whilst on stage, insisting she is just "playing a character".
The 'Living for Love' hitmaker - who is in the midst of her 'Rebel Heart' world tour - insists her fans have no need to worry because she is never "high or drunk" when performing.
Sharing a sweet message from one of her supporters on Instagram, she captioned the screenshot: "Thanks for supporting me. Too bad people don't know the art of acting and playing a character. I could never do any of my shows high or drunk.
"And yes underlying all of this is sexism and mysongony which proves that not only do we not get equal pay bUt we are still treated like heretics if we step out of line and think outside the box! . Sexism is alive and kicking but i am #livingforlove (sic)"

Fans have been expressing their concerns for the 57-year-old singer as she fights with Guy Ritchie over the custody of their 15-year-old son Rocco.
A few days ago, Madonna was spotted sipping tequila and making pleas for sex whilst on stage in Melbourne, Australia, telling the crowd: "Someone please f**k me. Somebody take care of me, please. Who is going to take care of me? ... I'm just kidding. I don't have to ask for that."
