It's always interesting how drama always unfolds after a person has passed, whether famous or not.
For some strange reason a scandal is bound to unravel , especially if that person was somewhat rich or wealthy, such is the case with late Kwaito star Mandoza.
According to the Sunday World newspaper, Mandoza's wife has allegedly fired the late star's manager, Kevin Ntaopane, for fraudulent activities regarding the Kwaito star's estate.

The newspaper reported that Mpho has apparently fired Kevin after she learned that Ntaopane had written a letter to the Music Association of South Africa on her behalf to gain funds in order to pay for Mandoza's Nkalakatha Records.
It gets even worst, it's alleged that even the people's poet, Mzwakhe Mbuli, is also involved in the fraudulent claim.
Mpho told the newspaper that she had never asked anyone to write a letter for her requesting for money and that she was shocked when MASA founder, Tebogo Sithathu informed her about the fraudulent letter.
"I was at the SAMRO (Southern African Music Rights Organization) offices after the death of my husband to enquire about his royalties when I bumped into Tebogo who told me that he received my letter and he was processing it. I then asked him what letter? He said the letter that was sent to him was by Mzwakhe and Kevin asking for funds for Nkalakatha. I was shell-shocked and told him I didn't what he was talking about. I felt like crying."

In the article, Mpho further explains that Kevin Ntaopane was never Mandoza's manager.
The public became more familiar with Kevin immediately after Mandoza's passing, in an interview with SABC news Kevin mentioned that Mandoza died in his arms whilst on their way to the hospital.
Mandoza was laid to rest on the 28 September 2016 after he succumbed to his illness with cancer.
