Miley Cyrus: No rules for VMAs

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who infamously twerked up a storm at the 2013 ceremony with Robin Thicke, won't have any rules imposed on her.
VMA producer Garrett English told Entertainment Weekly: "We're giving her pretty free rein. Obviously there are standards and various other things that were always a part of it, but no, [no rules]. It never comes from a place of trying to limit the range, it's always coming from a place of trying to open up the full palate."
English praised Miley, 22, for being "fantastic" to work with.
He said: "Miley has been fantastic. It was sort of a logical extension of conversations that we're happening. Both her camp and ours were immediately excited by it."
Miley's big VMAs hosting gig marks her return to the stage two years after she caused controversy with her sexually suggestive 'We Can't Stop' performance in 2013, as well as grinding against Robin Thicke during his 'Blurred Lines' performance.
The star-studded VMAs will see performances from Demi Lovato, Pharrell Williams, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky.
Kanye West will receive the prestigious Video Vanguard award.
