Miley's grandma has a crush on Snoop Dogg

The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker asked her "mammy" to help her film a scene with the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' hitmaker and says she became quite a fan of the 43-year-old rapper.

She said: "We called her to ask her to do this [scene] because I didn't know if my grandma would do this or not and so we called and was like, 'Alright, well there's a rapper. His name is Snoop Dogg' and she goes, 'I know who Snoop Dogg is!' And we were like, 'OK, sorry!'

"The whole way home, she told my mom like, 'He's just so tall.' So now my grandmother might be in love with Snoop Dogg."

In the video, Miley asked her grandmother to wear an apron that had the name 'Mary Jane' on, which she initially asked about, but soon realised what it meant when she saw Snoop walk in.

Miley added: "I gave her a revised script because there may or may not be some marijuana references in this scene.

"My grandma has on an apron that says Mary Jane and she asked me who Mary Jane was and my mum and I looked at each other and then Snoop comes in and she had a good idea of who Mary Jane was."

And the 'Wrecking Ball' singer has admitted she sees similarities between her "fresh" grandmother and Snoop when it comes to their style choices.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said: "My grandma is fresh. I always see her and she's in jumpsuits ... Snoop wears them; they actually have quite similar styles."
