Miss SA 2016: Meet your Top 12
The 12 Miss South Africa finalists, who will be doing battle to be crowned Miss South Africa 2016, have been announced.
The Miss South Africa pageant, presented by Sun International in collaboration with Cell C, takes place at Carnival City on Saturday, March 19 next year.
The top 12 come from around the country: Gauteng has five finalists; Mpumalanga and the Eastern and Western Cape all have two entrants while the Free State has one contestant.
The names of those competing to take the Miss South Africa title next year were announced at an event held also to bid farewell to reigning Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie and this year's First Princess Refilwe Mthimunye, both of whom leave shortly to compete in the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants respectively.
