Miss SA Ndavi Nokeri congratulates the new Miss Universe

Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, has shared her experience of being a contestant at the Miss Universe pageant and congratulated the winner, R'Bonney Gabriel.
Since the crowning of new Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages.
Miss South Africa Davi Nokeli was also among those who expressed their well-wishes for the newly crowned Miss Universe.
"I would like to congratulate R'Bonney," said Miss South Africa in a statement.
She said Gabriel is "a worthy winner and is going to be a wonderful Miss Universe".
The 23-year-old also shared her experience of being a contestant and making it to the top 16.
She thanked all who supported her through the journey.
"I want to thank everyone for their wonderful support, and I am proud of what I have accomplished," she said.

The model says she gave the Miss Universe pageant her best.
"I know that I gave it my all".
She says it is an experience she will forever cherish.
"The Miss Universe experience will be something I will never forget," she said.
"Obviously, I would have liked to go further, but I am delighted to have made it into the Top 16 of the competition. The whole experience has been beyond my wildest expectations, and it has been a true journey of the sisterhood," she added.
Nokeri, who is currently in New Orleans in the US where the pageant took place on January 14, said she is looking forward to coming back home.
"I am looking forward to returning to South Africa to complete my reign and my advocacy campaign Ed-Unite."

The newly appointed Miss Universe is from Houston, Texas.
She is 28 years old and a Fashion Designer who studied at University of Northern Texas
Gabriel is the first Filipina-American to win Miss Texas USA and Miss Universe.
