Nick Boulton and Thuso Mbedu honoured at GQ Men of The Year Awards

The GQ Men of The Year Awards took place over the weekend. Here is a list of all the winners.
The annual GQ Men of The Year Awards took place over the weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel, The Westcliff in Johannesburg.
They were hosted by Molife Kumona and Claire Mawisa.
Some of the artists who entertained guests were Siki Jo-An, Sauti Sol, and legendary Jazz artist, Sipho ‘Hotstix” Mabuse.
The awards honoured talented individuals who are making a positive change in society.

The biggest honour went to ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse who received the Hennessy Lifetime Achievement award for the tremendous work he has done in the music industry.
International star, Thuso Mbedu, won the 'Woman of the Year' award. The Emmy-nominated actress has been raising the South African flag high, starring in Amazon original series, 'The Underground Railroad’, and upcoming feature film, 'The Woman King’.
Another star who was honoured was Nick Boulton. He received the Industry 'Icon of the Year'.
The Editor’s Special Tribute went to Shona Ferguson, which was received by his wife, Connie Ferguson.

The Industry Icon of the Year – Nick Boulton
Woman of the Year – Thuso Mbedu
Sportsperson of the Year – Ntando Mahlangu
The Standard Bank Business Leader of the Year – Theo Baloyi
The Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège Lifetime Achievement Award – Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse.
