Nick Carter is facing more sexual assault charges.
According to Billboard, a woman who calls herself by her initials, A.R., filed a lawsuit in Las Vegas stating that she was assaulted multiple times when she was 15 by the Backstreet Boys singer. This reportedly occurred several times in 2003 on a yacht and once on a tour bus.
In the lawsuit, A.R claimed Carter “knowingly provided alcohol and drugs” and assaulted her “despite her repeated refusals and requests for him to stop”, reports NME.
The woman claims that in one incident, Carter “enticed three other men” to watch them have sex.
NME reports that A.R claims to have suffered from a sexually-transmitted diseases and “severe emotional distress, physical anguish, intimacy issues, and other complex trauma”.

Carter response
Carter's lawyers have hit back at the allegations. They claimed in a statement that A.R. could be charged with a crime over the matter, as per a police report. The statement further states that A.R. has previously been threatened with criminal charges for allegedly filing a false police report in an unrelated incident.
“The impacts of Carter’s sexual abuse are ceaseless, causing plaintiff severe emotional distress, physical anguish, intimacy issues, and other complex trauma,” Carter's lawyers wrote.
Other sexual assault charges
In 2022, Shannon Ruth, now aged 40, filed a lawsuit claiming that Carter sexually assaulted her on his tour bus in 2001. The woman claimed that Carter handed her a drink which she believed contained a mix of cranberry juice and alcohol before taking advantage of her.
Another woman, Melissa Schuman, a former member of teen-pop group Dream, also filed a lawsuit claiming to have been assaulted by Carter.
