The summit 'spotlighted groundbreaking environmental solutions and brought together world-leading innovators, investors and philanthropists to drive forward the restoration and protection of our planet', states the website.
Nomzamo, who was dressed in a stunning solar citrine dress dyed using biological DNA pigments grown in bacteria, proudly spoke about how she is intentional with preserving the planet.
She shared a video explaining how the technology used to make her dress uses "less water, less energy, and no toxic chemicals for a cleaner future".
The 34-year-old was interviewed by Moozlie and actor Kwenzo Ngcobo about the effects of climate change.
Moozlie asked the media personality and actor: "Nomzamo, while we have you here, we talk about sustainability and innovation, we've been saying sometimes it can be intimidating. Sometimes it feels like, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say. So for somebody who's watching this from home why is it so important for us to actually have these conversations and how does it truly affect people in their everyday life?"

The star responded: “It affects us everyday. You look at how climate change has not only affected migration but also affected the way that we do life."
Nomzamo added that sustaining the environment is not far-fetched.
“At the end of the day it is not about the big jargon. And so that is our part, right, as the creators, how do we find climate creativity to actually make it a palatable language for somebody to understand that it’s not a far fetched idea for you to be sustainable," she added.

The 'Coming 2 America' star encouraged people to know that everyday decisions must take into consideration climate change.
“It is something that you can be able to do in your everyday life, but also we have to know that this is an ecosystem, and an ecosystem has many living organisms that occupy this planet, and there’s us, so what are we doing?”
