Oprah Winfrey walks former Leadership Academy learner down the aisle

Oprah is regarded by many as a 'fairy godmother', but to the girls who graduated from her Leadership Academy, she’s so much more than that.

Glori Nelson, a former Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy student, has officially tied the knot and Oprah was one of the people who walked her down the aisle.

This comes after Oprah spent more than R140,000 on a wedding dress for Nelson. The bride shared a picture on her Instagram page and wrote: "My three mama bears walked me down the aisle. One walked me in spirit. I lost my mum when I was ten and her spirit gained me to them. A praying mum, dead or alive, is sooooo powerful!
