Queen drops new song with Freddie Mercury on vocals
Updated | By Algoa FM
The new track Face it Alone was originally recorded in 1989 and was believed to be lost by the group.
Recorded during sessions for 1989’s The Miracle.
Guitarist Brian May told Radio 2’s Zoe Ball: “We looked at it many times and thought, oh no, we can’t really rescue that.
“But in fact, we went in there again and our wonderful engineering team went, okay, we can do this and this. It’s like kind of stitching bits together. But it’s beautiful. It’s touching.”
The rediscovered track has been given a makeover by an expert engineering team. The still wildly popular group has proudly shared the news on its social media platforms.
