Ricky Martin denies sexual relationship with nephew
Singer Ricky Martin and his attorney addressed reports that he had a romantic relationship with his nephew for seven months.
Earlier this month, a domestic abuse restraining order was filed against the singer Ricky Martin (50) in Puerto Rico.

Martin has denied the domestic abuse allegations.
Martin reportedly had a seven-month relationship with his 21-year-old nephew, who is now accusing him of domestic violence and filed a restraining order.

According to reports, Martin and his nephew broke up two months ago, but Martin did not accept the separation and has been seen near his nephew's house at least three times.
Martin's attorney told People Magazine, that "the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health challenges."

"Ricky Martin has, of course, never been — and would never be — involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew. The idea is not only untrue; it is disgusting. We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts."
Deadline reported if the singer is charged with domestic abuse with a relative, he could face 50 years in prison.
