Kickstart the weekend with this brand-new song from none other than Rihanna!
Rihanna is back with another hit song.
The multi-award-winning singer released ‘Born Again’ on Friday, 11 November.
It is taken from the soundtrack to ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.
This is her second song from the soundtrack.
Last month, Rihanna released ‘Lift Me Up’ – a song that debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It scored her first Top 10 single in five years. Rihanna last appeared in the Top 10 of the singles chart in 2017 with the DJ Khaled's collaboration, 'Wild Thoughts'.
'Born Again' was written by American singer-songwriter and producer, The-Dream. He is the same guy who wrote ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Birthday Cake’.
It talks about Rihanna's desire to see someone she loves.
“And I’d relive this just to see your face again/I know that you’d do the same, born again,” sings Rihanna.
'Born Again' is the 20th song on the 'Wakanda Forever' album. The album also features Future, Burna Boy, E-40, Stormzy, and Young Stunna.
The much-anticipated 'Black Panther' sequel hits cinemas on November 11.
It stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and more.
