Rupert Grint closes hotel
Rupert Grint has closed down his hotel after it made just £2,014 profit in four years.
The 'Harry Potter' actor purchased the luxury Rigsby's Guest House in Hertford, South England in 2011 but the establishment - which charged £150 per night - is no longer open for business after making profits of just £2,014.
Manager Morris Cockman confirmed the hotel's closure on Facebook.
He added: "I would like to thank everybody for your support over the years."
An insider told the Daily Mirror online the hotel was "not making enough money" and could now be turned into flats.
The Grade II-listed property was bought outright by Rupert's parents Nigel and Joanne for £975,000 in 2003.
Though Nigel is the director of Rigsby Guest House Limited, Rupert, 27, is its only shareholder.
Rigsby's Piano Bar, a restaurant still open behind the hotel, is set up the same way.
That establishment seems to be much more successful than the boutique hotel as accounts for Rigsby's Piano Cafe Limited put it £28,047 in profit at the end of 2014.
While the hotel may have flopped, Rupert is unlikely to be too worried about cash.
In November, he was named the seventh richest British star under 30 by heat magazine, who estimated his fortune to be £27.8 million.
