A SAMA win for Freshlyground & Jack Parow
The iconic South African music group Freshlyground walked away with the 2016 Music Video of the Year award at the weekend.
The SAMA, shared with rap star Jack Parow, acknowledges the popularity of their joint-collaboration Army Of One and the action-packed video was shot as part of the Sony Experia Mashlab.
“I am thrilled!” says Freshlyground’s Zolani Mahola. “The entire project was a fun & zany from beginning to end. Shooting the video, while heavily pregnant, was definitely a challenge & highlight."
The SAMAs were handed out at a star studded event at the Durban International Convention Centre in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday evening.
