Sharon Osbourne tried to commit suicide following husband's affair

"I took, I don’t know how many pills."
Sharon Osbourne has opened up about how her husband Ozzy Osbourne's affair affected her.
The media personality was speaking on her 'Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap' show in London over the weekend.
According to The Mirror, Ozzy was involved in an affair with a hairdresser, Michelle Pugh, from 2012 to 2016.
The author started by admitting that she knew her husband had groupies.

“He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that,” she reportedly said.
“But when he knows the name of the person, where they live, and where they work […] it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested," she reportedly said.
The media personality went on to reveal that she took pills to try and kill herself.
"I took, I don’t know how many pills," she reportedly admitted.
Sharon says she wasn't worried about her children as she felt they were now old enough to "take care of themselves".
“So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she reportedly added.
Fortunately, her helper came to her rescue.
“The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me,” she said.

Ozzy recently spoke about his love for Sharon during an episode of 'The Osbourne's Podcast'. He was speaking alongside his wife.
"Sharon is like my soulmate, sometimes I love her, sometimes I don't love her, sometimes I'm angry with her, sometimes I'm crazy about her, sometimes I'm very jealous of her, sometimes I wanna f****** kill her," the Black Sabbath star said.
"But through it all, at the end of the day, I love her more than anything in the world."
Sharon and Ozzy got married in 1982.
Following the affair, the couple split for a brief period in May 2016 but soon after that got back together and renewed their vows in May 2017.
