Queen Consort Camilla, Princess Diana, and Princess Kate had to deal with it. What makes it different for the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle? Markle's former bodyguard spoke out about how it impacted her and Prince Harry's life.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, became world famous after she married Prince Harry, the youngest son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana.
However, after stepping back as senior royal working members of the royal family, the royal couple faced a lot of hate and backlash.

Since stepping back, the royal couple started speaking out about hate and racism within the firm and royal family.
During a two-hour interview with Oprah, the Duke of Sussex and his wife detailed the difficulties they faced in the royal family, both before and after their May 2018 wedding.
In one of their most explosive claims, the couple alleged that unnamed members of the royal family had been concerned about their son Archie's skin tone ahead of his May 2019 birth. This claim shocked the world.
The pair did confirm that the person sharing "concerns" about Archie was neither Queen Elizabeth II nor her late husband, Prince Philip, who died in April at age 99.

The royal couple recently also released a two-part Netflix documentary where they continued to share their story with the world.
In Prince Harry's upcoming book, he shares more shocking allegations. Harry recounts how he was physically "attacked" by his older brother Prince William during an argument in 2019.
During a disagreement in the kitchen of his London home, William called his wife Meghan Markle "difficult," "rude", and "abrasive," before tackling him to the ground. "He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me."

In a recent interview, Markle's former bodyguard, Steve Davis, had a sit-down interview with Breakfast Television.
"It was very, very difficult for her (Meghan Markle) to go from being a celebrity on a show to being part of the number one family in the world.
"Psychologically, for Meghan, it was stressful. With the Queen Consort, with Diana, and with Kate, they're in England. They've had a lot of transparency to that sort of lifestyle. With Meghan, she's in North America. And because it's Harry, the media are all over it. He's a great guy, but again because it's Meghan and Harry, and you've got the African-American influence on it and everything else, that took it to another level.
"She's (Meghan Markle) an honest, truthful person. She's good hearted, and she will go out and help anybody at any time."
