Somizi has reached out to the old woman who was assaulted by a teen boy in viral video.
Media personality Somizi Mhlongo took to Instagram to ask social media users to help him find the old woman whose assault video went viral in the past few days.
In the video, the elderly woman can be seen in the kitchen alongside what seems like her grandson.
The young man can be seen back chatting and physically assaulting the elderly woman, who can be heard asking if the young man wants to kill her.
The video went viral with many calling for justice for the elderly woman.
Somizi said the elderly woman also needed trauma counselling.
"Anyone who knows where this granny is from or this mama is from, please hook me up and let me know. I think she needs counselling, trauma counselling," he said in the video posted on his IG.
"We might take those things for granted, but she will forever be traumatised emotionally, mentally and spiritually," he added.
The media personality offered his assistance.
"So please assist, she needs help. I need to help. I'd like to help."
He added that the young man will be dealt with.
"This boy will be dealt with if he hasn't been dealt with yet , for me he is not that much of a concern because I know he is going to be taken care of thoroughly, but please help me find ugogo [the granny]," said Somizi.
