It is almost time for the who's who in politics to put their best fashion foot forward. The State Of The Nation Address is a glamourous event on the social calendar and last year the former public protector, Thuli Madonsela, turned heads in her yellow Gert-Johan Coetzee gown.

Minister Lindiwe Zulu opted for a more traditional design - by her daughter - and said flowing beads is what made her design special.

 

Former president Nelson Mandela's grandson, Mandla Mandelam, was on everyone's best dressed list - with his fashionable take on his traditional abaThembu tribal outfit.
