SONA 2017 red carpet
The red carpet has been rolled out at Parliament ahead of President Jacob Zuma's State of the Nation Address (SONA) this evening.
Ministers, MPs and dignitaries have pulled out all the stops and are dressed to the nines.
SONA has become synonymous with fashion with top designers sought to get politicians red-carpet-ready.
The question on everybody's lips: "Who are you wearing?"

The Opening of Parliament, which is by its very nature a rather serious affair, has over the years become a glamourous event on the social calendar of our politicians.
Last year, the former public protector, Thuli Madonsela, turned heads in her yellow Gert-Johan Coetzee gown.
Such a shame we won't be seeing her on the parliamentary red carpet this year.
