The latest step on this quest is Your Next Million, an exciting TV gameshow that will air on SABC1 each Wednesday at 8:27 p.m. from 14 February, giving Standard Bank Gold cardholders a chance to win R1 million.

The show will be hosted by Thembisa Mdoda and Mashalane Galane.  The Show follows a tried-and-tested gameshow format, but it does have a notable twist: questions and tasks are focused on financial wellbeing, notably savings and investment, and Standard Bank's UCount Rewards programme - a testament to the bank's commitment to financial literacy and its promise to move South Africa and the rest of Africa forward.

The show is broken into three segments: in round one, Fastest Finger, contestants are asked a single product-related question. The contestant with the fastest correct answer goes on to the next two rounds, a step closer to their R1 million "next".

The second round is Activate Someone's Next. Using the Standard Bank App, round one's winner helps Standard Bank donate R10 000 to a friend, family member, audience member or charity of his or her choice.

Round three is the moment of truth. In Spin for R1 million, the contestant tells the presenter and audience how the R1 million grand prize will enable his or her next before spinning for the money on a typical gameshow wheel.

Qualifying for Your Next Million is easy, but limited to Standard Bank Gold Credit and Debit card holders. If would-be contestants don't yet have this product, they can apply for either one, remembering to move their salary over into their Gold Credit card account if they have chosen this product.
