Terra Cox exits Idols SA
Updated | By MornéJK
Terra Cox's exit on Idols SA last night proved yet again that the audience has the final say when it comes to picking the winner.
The blonde contestant was an early fan favourite but his recent song choices and performances left the judges underwhelmed and ultimately to him receiving the least number of votes for the week.
The Top Four enjoyed a 72-hour whirlwind visit to the Big Apple last week, where they took on the sites, rehearsed and met American Idol judge and talk show host Harry Connick JR.
Former Idols contestant Shekinah returned in front of the judges as an award-winning vocalist, performing Black Coffee's the chart-topping track, Your Eyes.
This week the Top Three performed twice more, and their spirited acts showed how much they were fighting to get to the finish line.
Tebogo led with Ngoma by Zahara, followed by Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone on piano.
Thami followed with an emotive To Make You Feel My Love by Adele and channelled his inner Motown funk with Let's Get It on by Marvin Gaye.
The last woman standing, Noma started off with Kelly Price's As We Lay by Kelly Price and closed the show with Beyoncé's Daddy Lessons.
Next week your top 2 will be announced as we head into the final stretch of the singing competition.
