Various political parties have come out strongly against the past weekend's Thank You SABC concert that took place at Orlando Stadium.

The turn-out was dismal after the event organiser, Mzwakhe Mbuli, predicted that more than 20 000 music fanatics would attend the concert.
Afrikaans rapper, Jack Parrow was supposed to perform at the concert, but decided to leave after stuggling "for an hour" to get into the venue.
He shared his experience on Instagram, apologising to music fans.
The SABC's Kaizer Kganyago told the Daily Maverick that he wasn't at the concert and thus could not comment on the turnout or budget allocated to the concert.

"I just want to apologize to my fans and the people I met in the crowd trying to get inside that we couldn't get on stage to play and after more than an hour of trying we left. No one knew what was going on and made us feel so uncomfortable & unwelcome & basically like we shouldn't be there. We came all the way & trusted your word after everyone else pulled out & u begged us to still come. We are thankful for all you do for local music #sabc , but come on. K*k swak my bru," he wrote.
Organiser, Mzwakhe Mbuli, was not answering his phone to answer to any media inquiries.

Twitter quickly reacted to the #ThankYouSABC concert.
#ThankYouSABC concert, what a pathetic, laughable flop of a jamboree. Listeners&viewers are voting with their feet. @dhashenmoodley #AMLive
