Trevor Noah is Time Magazine's "Next Generation Leader"

South African comedian and Daily Show host, Trevor Noah, has been named Time magazine's next generation leader.

The local funny man has been making strides internationally, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood A-listers, and has now also added this accolade to his impressive list of acknowledgements.
Noah is one of 10 people who made the list alongside entrepreneurs, athletes.
In an interview with the magazine he commented on the rise in international viewership for The Daily Show saying that Donald Trump has made everyone interested in everything, everywhere.

"He's a worldwide phenomenon. With everything that's going on-the Muslim ban‚ threats to women's rights‚ the environment-I feel like I can finally say the show has a purpose," Noah says.

Noah has been commended for his work on the Daily show with the magazine calling him "the master of the eloquent Trump-takedown."
Trevor Noah will be heading back to South Africa soon with a brand new comedy show while he also recently made headlines for purchasing an upmarket condo in New Yorkworth almost R130 million.
