Twitter users mistake TV personality Ayanda Thabethe for Miss SA runner-up

The South African actress, entrepreneur, and television presenter says she has been receiving messages to congratulate her as a runner-up for Miss SA.
Sometimes it happens that people share the same name and surname. This can lead to a mistaken identity.
This has been the case for media personality Ayanda Thabethe, who shares a name with one of the Miss South Africa contestants.
Ayanda G Thabethe became Miss South Africa's first runner-up over the weekend. Ndavi Nokeri won the competition.

Ever since the announcement was made, media personality Ayanda Thabethe says she has been receiving messages from people congratulating her for being a runner-up.
"The amount of congratulatory messages I’ve received for being a Miss SA runner up," she wrote on Twitter.
She thanked all those who have sent the messages on behalf of Ayanda G.
"Thanks guys on behalf of ubizo," she wrote on Twitter.

Ayanda G Thabethe is an entrepreneur, model, and currently in her final year of her BSc degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
The 22-year-old hails from KwaZulu-Natal.
