The Voice: Karen Zoid saves Thembeka Mnguni, again
Updated | By MornéJK
In the most tense live show of The Voice SA to date the remaining sixteen singers had to up their vocal game to win the favour of their coaches or the voting public.
Coach Karen Zoid cheered when hearing that her team's "Mr Personality", Almur, raked in the most votes and thereafter his beautiful rendition of Just Jinger's "What He Means" elicited some tears and raving comments.
When it came to saving time, however, she did not go with "Stilfontein". Instead, she chose powerhouse songstress Thembeka Mnguni from Durban who she believes delivered the best work in her very strong team this week.
This means that Almur, Karen's former back-up singer Thapelo Lekoane and Cape Town's Jono Grayson are now relying on fans' support to be on stage again next week.
Coach Bobby van Jaarsveld opted to save his favourite, Vernon Barnard, who wowed South Africa and the world during the audition rounds.
