The Voice SA: Last chance to vote for your favourite
Updated | By MorneJK
The Voice SA fans have time until 22:00 on Thursday to vote for the incredible singers who did not receive a “save” from Coaches last week.
After four singers from the remaining eight in each team performed tonight, the distressed coaches – who are all in competition with each other to produce the show’s ultimate winner – granted one of the four performers a guaranteed spot in the next round.
Parlotones frontman Kahn Morbee was the first coach under pressure to name his “save” of the evening.
He chose Richard Stirton (22) from Cape Town. Thereafter coach Bobby gave the 37-year-old Gavin Edwards from Johannesburg the green light, while Karen saved the diva from Durban, Thembeka Mnguni (32).
Lira opted for the talent Zoë Modiga (22) from Pietermaritzburg.
Now, the remaining three performers from each team are hoping to garner gazillions of votes from the public.
The one with the most votes in each team will later return to the The Voice SA stage with all of the coaches’ saves to possibly become “The Voice” of South Africa.
The talent who are vying for South Africa’s votes are El Clay, Eden Myrr and Clemour from #TeamKahn; Nolene Olivier, Lana Crowster and Xanilee Hammond from #TeamBobby; and Meyrand Roux, Robin Peters and Busisiwe Mutlaka from #TeamLira.
To vote for your favourite voice, SMS the performer’s unique Voting Number to 33692, or vote on the The Voice SA App at a cost of R1.50 per vote.
You may vote up to 100 times on each of these platforms, but do keep in mind that voting on The Voice SA App closes at the end of the Sunday night show –unlike the other platforms on which voting closes on Thursdays at 22:00.
The results of this week’s voting will be announced at the beginning of next week’s live show, during which another 16 performers will do their best to stay in the competition.
