The Voice SA: Marissa and Bubbles dominate the last battle rounds
Updated | By MornéJK
The battle rounds of the Voice SA came to an end on Sunday night, with Marissa Petzer and Bubbles Mnomiya slaying during their performances.

Coach Karen Zoid's first Battle saw Marissa Petzer from Stilfontein go up against Celest Schoeman from Cape Town.
Both powerhouse vocalists who received four chair turns from the coaches in the Blind auditions were assigned the power ballad "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera.

Karen had a difficult choice to make, and despite having mentored Marissa's boyfriend Almur Marais into the finals last year, she opted to take Celest through to the Knock-Outs.
Coach Lira then pushed the buzzer and stole Marissa as they head into the knock-out rounds.
The second and final steal came courtesy of coach Bobby who saved 23-year-old Bubbles Mnomiya.
Coach Bobby went into his last Battle with 19-year-old John-James Janse van Rensburg from Carletonville and Chad Jubber from Durban, who had the ladies weak at the knees with their rendition of Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man".
Unfortunately Chad had to leave the competition after Bobby chose John-James for the knock-out.
