Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at the Center for Early Education's 75th Anniversary Gala at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles yesterday.
The 34-year-old singer - who has four-year-old Blue Ivy with husband Jay Z - made a surprise appearance at the Center for Early Education's 75th Anniversary Gala at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles at the weekend, where she performed a short set accompanied by a group of backing dancers.
The 'Formation' singer donned a tight, reflective tiger-print black-and-gold dress for the occasion, with a number of pictures and videos posted on Instagram from audience members.
The attendees revealed Beyoncé performed several of her own songs, including 'Crazy in Love' and 'Halo', as well as her cover of the iconic ballad during her set.
And the singer also delighted fans by posting an accompanying video, featuring her daughter, for the track online.
It was recently claimed the 'Run The World' hitmaker has another surprise in store for fans as she will release a new album in April.
A source said: "[She] is close to making a new worldwide, multi-album deal with Sony Music; the final release under the current deal is now set for April."
And it is also thought she may also release a second album, a "joint project" with her husband later this year.
The insider added: "There are rumours of another Beyoncé album in 2016, this one a joint project with husband Jay Z."
